ARE MARRIED AT HIGH NOON.

Sylvenus Cornell and Aletha St. Claire [sic] Wedded, High Noon, Wednesday.

Wednesday, October 11, 1905, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Miller, one and one-half mile west of this city, occurred the marriage of Sylvenus Cornell and Aleteha St. Claire [sic].

Promptly at twelve o'clock, noon, Miss Jessie Black took her place and rendered a beautiful wedding march, to the strains of which the happy couple entered the parlor and standing amid flowers and vines, they were pronounced man and wife by Rev. C.T. McCampbell, of this city.

Mr. and Mrs. Cornell received congratulations of the guests, who were composed of friends and relatives to the number of twenty, after which they led the way to the dining room, where an elegant wedding dinner was served in courses. The parlors and dining room were beautifully decorated with cut flowers and vines.
"With happy heart and smiling face,
With joy in every breast
A foretaste of that Heavenly place,
Where all should be a guest."

Mr. Cornell and his bride are both well known and highly respected in this city. The bride is a lady who counts her friends here by the score. She will make an excellent helpmate for the man of her choice. The room is a well known business man of this city, being a member of the firm of Long & Cornell, cigar manufacturers,"Venie," has many friends, not only in this city, but all over Jefferson county, who will unite with the DAILY JOURNAL in extending the heartiest congratulations to him and his bride.
