Thelma Grace Cross, age 77 of Tellico Village, Loudon, TN passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Her greatest loves were her husband, children and granddaughter. Thelma was a active member of First Baptist Church Concord and the Ladies Precepts Bible Study for over 20 years. A founding member of the Tellico Village Library. Thelma was active in politics serving as President of Republican Women in Sullivan County and working many elections. For the last several years Thelma worked at Kroger in Farragut doing demonstrations.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Edward Cross; granddaughter, Jordin Leigh Cross; sisters, Ina Allen, Johnnie Shipley and Frankie Greene. Survived by her sons, David Cross of Greenville, SC, Donald Cross of Atlanta, GA, daughter, Debbie Cross; granddaughter, Kirstin Norris both of Pensacola, FL.; sisters, Norma Seaver and Joyce Everhart of Church Hill, TN.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24rd from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at 9:30 a.m. at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.
