MRS. FRANCES BEIDE, RESIDENT HERE MANY YEARS, DIED SATURDAY

Mrs. Frances Beide, 75 years old, and resident of this community for the past 59 years, passed away at her home, 2405 Madison avenue, at 9 p.m. Saturday as a result of a complication of illnesses she had suffered from during the past two years.

Mrs. Beide was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Kalefeld Kappel in St. Louis during the civil war period and moved to Mitchell, Ill., at the age of 16 years and has resided in this community continuously since that time.

Surviving her are four sons, Casper, Joseph, John and Arthur Beide; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Hoelter, Mrs. Catherine Grolmes, Mrs. Clara Warden and Mrs. Agnes Zimmer, all of this city; one brother, John Kappel of St. Louis; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death 14 years ago.

Her remains will lie in state at the family residence, 2405 Madison avenue, until 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when they will be removed to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for last rites to be performed by Fr. M. Costello, pastor of the church.

Interment will be made in Calvary Cemetery, Sunset Hills, with the Mercer Funeral Directors in charge.
