On 18 Nov 1863 Ruth married Irving Broaddus in Lacon. Irving was the son of Lunsford & Nancy (Gayle) Broaddus, both were born in Fredericksburg, VA.
The young couple were both born in Marshall county, and stayed here but for the last 8 or so years of their lives.
