Media, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Slaven, was born October 26, 1926. Departed from this life June 14, 1929. Age: two years, seven months, and eighteen days.
Media was a bright, beautiful little babe that came into that home to gladden the hearts of the father and mother. While their little flower just began to bloom God called her to be in Paradise the Mansion house in the skies, where she has gone as a forerunner and will be waiting there to bid her loved ones welcome when they come.
She leaves father, mother, brother and sisters and many playmates who will miss her in the walks of life. While we weep for her below she will be singing with the Angels above.
After religious services were held by Rev. J. P. Taylor her body was laid to rest in Livingston cemetery to wait till Jesus comes to gather up his jewels.
