He was born June 24, 1924, in Kentucky, to Edward and Emma Sipple Dick. He married Dorothy O. Mounts in Kempton in 1950, and she preceded him in death in 1981. He married Rita A. Smith on December 3, 1983, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Hubert T. Dick of Frankfort; a step-daughter, Susan (Randy) Bayless of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Pearl Richardson, Edith Gould, and Lucy Kemmerer, all of Frankfort; two brothers, James of Frankfort and Oscar Day of Ohio; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
