She was born October 13, 1925, in Science Hill, Kentucky, to William Edger and Emma Catherine (Sipple) Dick. She married Beyrl R. Gould in Frankfort on September 2, 1949, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gould attended high school in Stockwell. She was plant clerk for Indiana Bell, retiring in 1976 after 30 years. Her memberships include First Christian Church, Clinton Chapter 6 O.E.S. and was Worthy Matron in 1962; Bulldog Club of Indiana, where she was secretary for 30 years, Bulldog Club of America; Women of the Moose; life member of Telephone Pioneers; American Red Cross volunteer and was solicitor for United Way since 1975.
She leaves behind two brothers, James Dick, of Frankfort, and Buddy Day, of Ohio; a sister, Lucy Kemmerer, of Frankfort; and Jim and Teresa Guffy and their sons, Jamie (Candice) Guffy and Clayton Guffy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl, Charles, Roscoe, William, Elmer and Hubert Dick; and sisters, Pearl Richardson and Clara Dick.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital or charity of choice . Goodwin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at goodwinfuneralhome.com.
