ROY DUTCHER
Funeral services for Roy Dutcher, 71, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Bruces Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ernest F. Martin of Epworth Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Alma; two sons and a daughter, David Roy Dutcher, Fort Dodge, Ivan Dutcher, Hammond, Minn., and Mrs. Emery Faulkner; Truth or Consequences, N.M.; seven stepchildren, Mrs. Norton Wynn, Springdale, Ark., Mrs. Glen Nemechek, Mrs. A. R. Gilpin, Mrs. Diane Dammon, Mrs. Beverly Crouse and Larry Crotts, all of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Bill Winston, North Muskegon, Mich.; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and a sister, John, Frank, and Chancy Dutcher, all of Lehigh, Lawrence Dutcher of Dayton, and Mrs. L. D. Peterson, Pine River, Minn., also survive.
Born and raised in the McGuire Bend area south of Lehigh, Mr. Dutcher attended school there. Until 1950 when he moved to Fort Dodge, he farmed in the Lehigh area. In 1953 he married Mrs. Alma Crotts and they lived here since their marriage. Before his retirement five years ago he worked for Webster County.
Mr. Dutcher died unexpectedly at his home, 1446 S. 24th St., Thursday morning.
