Anna Lee Hayes Summit, 81, of E. Center Street, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Titus. Burial will follow in Jont Brown Family Cemetery in Boone. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m.
Mrs. Summit was born March 29, 1935, in Watauga County, to James Alfonso Hayes and Anna Louise Colvard Hayes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Summit; and sister, Mary Lee Fletcher.
