Amy “Louise” (Woods) Waggoner, age 86, of Robinson, IL, passed from this life on February 6, 2016 at Zionsville Meadows in Zionsville, IN. Born in Murdock, IL on August 5, 1929 to James and Dortha (York) Woods, she married Martin G. “Red” Waggoner April 28, 1947 and he preceded her in death March 16, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a son Gerald “Gary” Waggoner December 9, 1992 and brothers George, Roy, Grant, Jim Jr; and sisters, Helen Parkhill and Arlene Davis.

She is survived by:

Louise lived in Crawford County most of her life, where she enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, and sewing. The past few years she has resided in Zionsville, IN close to her daughter, so that her daughter could oversee Louise's care. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years, and was also treasurer of the Mission Committee. She worked as a cook in restaurants and the high school in Robinson for many years.

A time of visitation for friends and family was held on Saturday February 13, 2016 when a Celebration of Life Service for Louise was conducted by Pastor Bob Ash at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL.
A private family burial services followed the Celebration of Life Service at Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, IL. Memorial contributions: Oblong Children’s Christian Home.
