Donald M. Frank, 71, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2004 in Clear Lake, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 in the chapel of Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, with Rev. Dennis Johns officiating.
Donald Matthews Frank was born July 30, 1933 to Hugo and Mattie Matthews Frank in Bellville, Texas. Don was four when the family moved to Belen, New Mexico, and returned to live in Houston after his father's death in 1942.
Don was drafted into the Army after his graduation from Milby High School in 1951. He received his basic training in El Paso, TX. After basic training Don was sent overseas to Frankfurt, Germany, where he spent the remainder of his time in the service,and was honorably discharged. Don was a graduate of the University of Houston. Don has lived and worked in Sales, in Houston, Colorado, Austin and San Antonio.
He is survived by his loving family, including his children, Donald (Donnie) Brian Frank, Jeffrey Scott Frank and wife, Debra, Lisa Danette Hirsh and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Donald Matthews Frank II, Shawn Allen Frank, Heather Marie Frank, Tina Nicole Frank, Sarah Nicole Hirsh, Ryan Alexander Frank, Christina Lynn Gambino,and Travis Frank; great grandchildren, Kayla, Kendall, Isabella,and Trey; brother, Hugh (Sonny) Frank; sisters, Mattie Lynn Park,and Shirley Weidler. Donald is preceded in death by his parents Hugo Frank and Mattie Frank Long and son, Terry Matthews Frank.
