Mrs. Alma Annis Holder, 78, daughter of Jeff and Jane Chambers Westerman, was born Aug. 12, 1895, at Yukon, Mo., and died March 10, 1974, at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Mo.

She was united in marriage to Charles A. Holder on Sept. 12. 1912, and to this union seven children were born.

Mrs. Holder lived most of her life around the Yukon area, moving to Houston a few years ago. She became a member of the Big Creek Church and later moved her membership to the Glad Tidings Church where it was at the time of her death.

Survivors are her husband, Charles; four sons, Chloe, of Houston, Herman of Yukon, Ervin from St. Louis, and Kenneth of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Blanche Swearington of Ash Grove, Gertrude Coons of Hutchinson, Kans., and Donna Armfield of St. Louis; one brother, Thurman Westerman; two sisters, Florence Hare and Mary Cochran, all of Houston; 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 13, in the Big Creek Church with the Rev. Robert Smith and Mrs. Sadie Miles officiating. Burial was in the Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Evans-Elliott Funeral Home.
