Preceded in death were parents Reathie Ryan and Leslie Foster, four brothers; Infant baby boy, Roat, Donald, and L.H. Foster; two sisters Juanel Foster, and Linda Jean Hunt; husband, Johnny Lee Mitchell and daughter Linda Fay Henson.

Survived by daughters; Brynda (Jon), Mary (Neil ), and son James Scarbrough; 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild, sisters; Kathryn Wall, Reathie Joyce, Myrtle Stevens; brother; Leslie Joe Foster, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Josephine was the person you could hear laughing across the room. There were five things she loved most in life. They were traveling, being with family & friends, church, talking, and food. Josephine lived in Quinlan, Texas for 41 years where she worked at Vintage Wood Work for 13 years, and retired from the Quinlan ISD as a cook for the elementary school. She was previously a member of The Rebeka’s in Quinlan and the Ladies Red Hat Association in McKinney. After Josephine retired she moved to McKinney, Texas where she volunteered as the ‘Pop Corn Lady’ at the McKinney hospital. After a few years she moved to Beatrice, Nebraska where she was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting and playing cards. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
