Mrs. Evelyn Fisher, 64, of 1003 W. Anna died Saturday evening at a local hospital after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Fund.
Mrs. Fisher was born Feb. 9, 1915, at Palmer, the daughter of Roy and Bessie Ferris Hudnall. She was a 1933 graduate of Palmer High School. On Feb. 10, 1936, she married Hilliard Fisher at York. They moved to Grand island and lived here until Mr. Fisher retired in 1964. They moved to Kearney in 1967. After his death on Aug. 21, 1971, Mrs. Fisher moved back to Grand Island. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Abundant Life Church of Grand Island and was affiliated with the Sweet Arts cake decorating club.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Bessie Hudnall of Aurora; three sons, Clarence and LeRoy, both of Grand Island, and Hilliard of Darby, Mont.; a brother, Albert Hudnall of Aurora, a sister, Mrs. Paul Lombard of Ashland, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
