William Hettinger Claimed by Death
    William "Dutch" Hettinger, former resident of town who has been residing for sometime with his daughter, Mrs. Chris Samuelson, at Hunlock Creek, died this morning at 3 in Nanticoke State Hospital where he had been a patient for the past few days. Born in Dorrance Township 74 years ago, he came to Plymouth at an early age and resided here for many years. His widow died seven years ago.
    Mr. Hettinger was a member of the Spanish American War Veterans. Surviving are five children: Mrs. Chris Samuelson, Hunlock Creek; Francis, Willard and David Hettinger and Mrs. Fred Keast, Plymouth.
    Three sisters and two brothers also survive. They are: Mrs. Daniel Jenkins, Plymouth; Mrs. R. J. Rees, Kingston; and Mrs. Arthur Blackwell, Trucksville; Charles Hettinger, Plymouth; and Daniel Hettinger, Berwick.
    The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2, with services to be conducted at the Frederick Funeral Home, 16 East Main street. Rev. C. B. Snyder. pastor of English Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery
