Charles Hettinger, 68, of 29 Willow Street, Plymouth, custodian In Plymouth School District for 21 years, died last night at 7:30 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was admitted June 3. Mr. Hettinger was employed by the school district when Davenport High School was constructed.
He was a member of Welsh. Baptist Church of Plymouth, Knights of Pythias Lodge of Plymouth and Jr. OUAM.
Surviving are three children: Ralph, Reading; Mrs. William E. Lewis, Plymouth, and &infer, at home. A brother, Daniel, of Berwick; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Blackwell, Dallas, and Mrs. R. J. Rees, Kingston, and two grandchildren also survive.
