BURLINGTON - Celestia Alice (Lessor) Bessette, 90, passed away on November 26th 1984 at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

She was born on July 6th 1894 in Shelburne, Vt., the daughter of Vetal and Celina (Phillips) Lassor Sr.

She married George Stephen Bessette Sr. on October 26th 1911 in Shelburne, Vermont.

Together they shared five daughters and six sons, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and in-laws.

She was widowed; she worked as a Homemaker and resided in Grand Isle at the time of her passing.

Arrangements by the LaVigne Funeral Home in Winooski, Vt.

Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery Annex in Burlington, Vt.
