Nancy L. Harter the daughter of Dr. Richard Harter and Mary Anna Teford, married Fermine Carmichel Andrews the son of George Lloyd Andrews and Margaret Rodebaugh. They were married on September 19, 1869 in Jay County, Indiana and to this union were born two children; Evalena the wife of George W. Bailey and Joseph E. both of Salamonia, Jay County, Indiana. Nancy the young wife and mother died on February 6th, 1873.
It has been reported that the inscription on this marker reads "Wife of B. G. Andrews." I wonder if it actually reads "Wife of F. C. Andrews."
