Mary Anna Teford, was the daughter of Jacob Teford and Elizabeth Ketring, married Henry Harter the son of Christian Harter and Jane White. They were married on March 30th, 1837 in Greenville, Darke County, Indiana. They had eight known children together.

After the death of Mary's 1st husband, she married his brother Dr. Richard Harter after the death of his 1st wife. They were married on September 14th, 1852 in Jay County, Indiana.
