Gregory J. Gardner, 19, of Rt. 2,
Camden, was killed instantly at 3:25
p.m. Friday, September 14, 1979, in a
two vehicle accident east of Patton.
Born March 9, 1960, in East Chicago,
he was the son of Raymond and Betty
A. Stewart Gardner.
Gardner had attended Delphi
Community High School and also
Morton High School in Hammond. He
had been employed with the Indiana
National Guard out of Delphi since July
1977
Surviving with the parents are six
brothers, Dennis of Rt. 2, Camden,
Wayne of Cameron, Wisc., Ralph of
Hammond, Clark of Mooresville, Larry
of Grainger, and Paul of Rt. 2, Camden;
and one sister, Karen Gardner, of
Griffith.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m.
Monday at the Sullivan Funeral Home,
Camden, with the Rev. Ray French
officiating. Burial was in the Camden
Cemetery.
