He was born in Schaefferstown to the late Clarence and Mary (Buchter) Keppley and was the husband of Ruth (Loose) Keppley with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Harold worked for Ready Mix as a concrete truck driver for 40 years and with his son, at Park Place Automotive, Inc., for 10 years. His pride in life were his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, going to the mountains, and micro midget races.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Harold Jr., husband of Robin (Kinsey) Keppley of Brownstown; 3 daughters, Connie, wife of Larry Keller of Lititz, Bonnie, wife of Daniel Gerz of Strasburg, Robin, wife of Dave Dissinger of Brownstown; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 8 siblings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
