Funeral services for James H. Day, 68, a lifelong resident of Aledo, were held Sunday afternoon, January 30, from the Presbyterian church here. He died Thursday, January 27, 1938, in Moline Public hospital after several months of ill health.
Born October 31, 1869, Mr. Day, a carpenter, was married to Maude Rowley, of Seaton, March 18, 1896.
Survivors include his widow and four children, Mrs. George Beck of Berwyn; Mrs. Andrew Anderson of Seaton; Mrs. William Rush of Aledo, and Mrs. Charles Haigh of Davenport.
