Northampton – Rose (Challet) Amlaw, 63, of North Farms Road, former employee of the October Co., Florence, died Tuesday in Fort Myers (Fla) Community Hospital. She lived in this city most of her life and in Florida four years. She also worked for Pro Brush Division of Vistron Corp. She leaves her husband; a son; three daughters; two brothers, Albert Challet of Easthampton and Wilfred Challet of Northampton; four sisters, Alvina Bergeron of Marlboro, Anna Hunt and Pearl Lyman, both of Northampton, and Emma Gesiorek of Hadley, and 10 grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at Drozdal Funeral Home and in Sacred Heart Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
