Lucian Bass, 89, Princeton;'s last Civil War Veteran, pass away Tuesday evening at the home of this daughter, Mrs. John Rambo on Elm Place, from a heat stroke. In recent years he had been spending the winters at St. Petersburg, Fla., and he and his wife had come north only a short time ago to visit with relatives during the summer.
NOTE: On Jan. 7, 1935, Lucian Bass wed Mrs. Ruth Midgley of Joliet, Ill. in St. Petersburg, Florida.
