Juanita J. Carter peacefully passed away at home on February 24, 2016 in Harker Heights, TX after moving to Texas in 2012. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, crocheting and being with family and friends.
She was born January 25, 1933 in West Bend, Iowa to Thorsten and Vivian Satern.
She married Vernon Carter September 8, 1956 in Idaho finally settling in Streator, IL to raise her family.
Survived by sons Timothy [Barbara] Carter of Streator, IL and Dennis Carter of Minonk, ILl; daughter Michelle [Daniel] Gallagher of Harker Heights, TX; daughter-in=law SHaron [Gerald] Carter of Steling, IL; sisters Virginia Zimmerman of Idaho and Eileen Stinson of Oklahoma; brother Ronald Satern of California. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gerald Carter, daughters-in-law Jeana {Timothy] Carter and Bridget [Dennis] Carter, granddaughter Monica [David] Evans brothers Robert, Conrad nad Wayne Satern.
