Mrs Verna L Harlan 89 of Williamsport RD 3 died Wednesday March 29 in the Williamsport nursing home. She was the widow of Edward T Harlan.
Born at Salladasburg on Sept 18, 1883, she was a daughter of Henry and Catherine Waltz Good.
She was a member of the Oval Methodist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Paul Wolfe of Jersey Shore RD 2 Mrs R Glen Seagraves of Jersey Shore, Mrs Ezra Miller of South Williamsport and Mrs Bessie Burke, city; two sons Harold of Williamsport and Carl of Williamsport RD 3; a brother Harold Good of South Williamsport; a sister Miss Margaret Good, Syracuse NY; 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at Rearick's 1002 Allegheny St Jersey Shore at 2 PM Saturday. The Rev Raymond Colas will officiate. Burial will be in Jersey Shore cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 PM.
