Thomas A. [sic. E.] Pickell, 3020 Gadsden St., a barber, died Thursday night [December 4, 1975] at his home after a brief illness. Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Rufus and Annie Faulkner Pickell. He was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary S. Pickell; a daughter, Mrs. Ellus B. Burns, Columbia; two brothers, Edward and Frank Pickell, Greenwood; and three sisters, Miriam Denton, and Mrs. Floride Bock, both of Camden, and Mrs. Henrietta Barns, Columbia; and one grandchild. Dunbar Funeral Home. The State, Friday, December 5, 1975. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The State, Saturday, December 6, 1975.
