Dorothy A. Cassidy, 70, 1041 Northview Drive, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 6, 2001.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 246 N. Market St., with the Rev. Ermon French officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to First Baptist Church, 246 N. Market St., Wooster 44691 or to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster.
She was born in Gibson, Pa. on Sept. 9, 1931, to Floyd and Catherine (Courtright) Aten.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Cassidy. They were married on Sept. 14, 1981.
Also surviving are sons, Paul Ennis Jr. (fiancee, Gloria Zackel) of Wooster, Glenn (Sheila) Ennis of Wooster; stepchildren, Gary (Jody) Cassidy, Pam (Daryl) Cassidy, Lori (Wayne) Kasserman, all of Wooster, Lisa Cassidy and Mark Cassidy of Arkansas; six grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ella (Carl) Best of Wooster; brothers, Ivan (Gloria) Aten of Factoryville, Pa. and Charlton (Joan) Aten of Covington, Ga.; many nieces and nephews; stepbrothers, William and Edward Frederici, both of Factoryville, Pa. and a stepsister, Pat Sevensky of Factoryville, Pa.
