WOOSTER -- Garcy A. Aten, 56, 3246 W. Old Lincoln Way, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1998. at his home. Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, Wooster, with the Rev. David Harding officiating. Private interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Wooster. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. His family request memorial contributions to Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 4203 West Old Lincoln Way, Wooster 44691 in his memory. Surviving are his wife, Sally Jo Nall Aten, whom he married Aug. 16, 1975 in Perrysville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Claudia Aten of Athens, Ga. and Weston and Tracy Aten of Wooster; a daughter, April Aten and a son, Evan Aten, both of the home; two granddaughters, Denise and Terra Aten; two sisters, Dorothy Cassidy and Ella Best, both of Wooster; two brothers, Charlton Aten of Covington, Ga. and Ivan Aten of Factoryville, Pa.; two stepbrothers, Edward Frederici of Dalton, Pa. and William Frederici of Factoryville, Pa. and a stepsister, Pat Sevensky of Nicholson, Pa.
