William was born to Arthur and Frances Waters Herpich. He married Phyllis Elaine Bottomley Dec 23 1943 in Melbourne, Fl. He served his country as a Naval Night Fighter Pilot in the South Pacific during WWII. He was employed by Galion Alsteel(Peabody Galion) where he held numerous postions.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Kay and Bud Goldsmith of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; sons and daughter-in-law, William and Candice Herpich, Roc Herpich both of St Petersburg, Fl.' six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Wife April 6 1990, his sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Bob Waldo.
