Evelyn I. Herpich Waldo, 72, of Marshfield, Mass., former Mansfield residnet, died Thursday in South Shore Hospital in Boston, Mass., after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Newark, the daughter of Arthur and Frances Waters Herpich, both now deceased. Mrs. Waldi cane ti the Mansfield area in 1933, graduating from Mansfield Senior High in 1936. She moved to Minnesota in 1984 and lived in the Marshfield, Mass. area for the last five years.
She ran an antique and auction business and sold real estate for Louise Bush Realy, retiring in 1984. She was active as a volunteer for the hospital and library in Massachusetts and also was active in the Senior Bridge Club there. She was a former member of the First Congregational Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law of Marshfield; a brother, William A. Herpich of Galion; two grandchildren.
She married Robert B. Waldo, an antique dealer, in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1968.
Services will be heled Tuesday at the Finefrock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
