Funeral services for Joyce Dean Allred Nance, 79, will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in El Reno with Rev. Charlie Blount officiating.
Joyce was born April 25, 1933 on the family farm home of her parents, Clarence A. and Ella Allred and died Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
She was raised with her four older brothers to walk with Jesus and to trust Him as her Lord and Savior. Joyce and her husband, Merrill were married 63 years and he has tenderly cared for her at their home for the past nine years. Joyce was a homemaker an a "Proverbs 31" woman that truly loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved sewing clothing, curtains and "special treasures." Her love of life and smiles will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hoyt Allred, Wilburn Allred and Kenneth Allred; and a great-grandson, Justin Sides.
She is survived her husband, Merrill; daughter Kathy Funck and husband, Ronnie; son, Larry Nance and wife, Karen, of El Reno; grandchildren, Tammy Hill and husband, Craig of Keller, Texas, Joe Funck of Yukon, Ryan and wife, Heather, of Wichita, Kansas, Karisa Rout and husband, Brandon, of Jenks and Landon Nance and wife, Jessica, of El Reno; great grandchildren, Josh Funck of Yukon, Katelyn Funck of Kansas, and Brycen, Kayla and Brayden Rout, all of Jenks; and brother, Charles Allred of Wagoner.
