Son of Oliver Perry Keller and Edla Mary Ekberg.

His father, Oliver, died in 1919 and Edla remarried to
Harry Albert Baldwin and either Mr. Baldwin adopted Venzel or the name Baldwin was used without official adoption.
Edla Mary Keller Baldwin died as results of being struck by a car on Nov. 28, 1931 and expired on Dec. 01, 1931 four months after the death of her son.

It appears that Venzel contracted tuberculosis at a very early age and the earliest census record of him in 1920 he is in a TB hospital and later in California he is in a TB hospital and this is where he died. Family letters confirm that he and the family moved to Montana to the mountains for the cold air in hopes that it would be helpful. His father, Oliver, also had TB and died in 1919.

Aged 17 yrs. 11m's 25 dys.
