Wiley Ambrose, 77, of Franklin died Monday at Williamson Medical Center. Services will be today at 4 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Hughland Sullivan officiating. Mr. Ambrose was a native of the county and a retired painter. Preceded in death by daughter Mrs. Edna (Ambrose) Burge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Ambrose of Franklin; one daughter, Mrs. Herman (Sue) Scales of Nashville, two sons, Raymond Ambrose of Franklin, and Burr Ambrose of Nashville; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
