Mrs. Sadie (Ambrose) Barnes of Franklin, age 89, died on Monday, January 10, at Williamson County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a housewife and a native of Williamson County. She was a member of the Forest Homes Church of Christ. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday morning, January 12, at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Myron Keith officiating, burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. Survivors are; sons, James, Leonard, William, and Milton, all of Franklin; brothers, Wiley Ambrose and Allen Ambrose both of Franklin; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. Pallbearers were; Delmar Barnes, Larry Barnes, Ronnie Barnes, Leonard A. Barnes, Dennis Veach, Ronnie Johnson, Randy Andrews, Wayne Stampfli.
