Allen Ambrose, 89, of Franklin, died Monday at his home and services were Wednesday at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Milton Lillard officiating. Mr. Ambrose was a native of Williamson County and a farmer. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Mildred Erving of Memphis; brother, Wiley Ambrose of Franklin; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were Raymond Ambrose, Burr Ambrose, William Barnes, Paul Pearre, Paul Kinnie and Henry North Miller.
