Our beloved mother, Clara Bernice Brown Saddler, 97, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 15, 2016 due to natural causes.

Born June 11, 1918 to George W. and Clara Mae Brown in Coalville.

Married Elijah Edward Saddler in Farmington in October 1939 and later solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 8, 1955.

She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. Started the first Cub Scout program in Kearns. Served an LDS Church Mission in Indianapolis, Indiana from 1982 to 1984. Also served an eighteen-month temple mission in St. George. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and shared her testimony often.

She was known for her service and compassion to others, always remembering everyone's birthday and anniversary in the family and sent birthday cards to friends and ward members for many years. She had a love of gardening, especially beautiful roses, going camping, fishing, spending time with family, working crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was a great sports fan and loved BYU.

She is survived by four of her children and spouses, Carol and Reed Murdock, Ed and Shauna Saddler, Dick and Connie Saddler, and Robert and Vickie Saddler; sons-in-law, Sam Schrader and Dennis Larsen; twenty-one grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
