"George William Brown, 79, 1620 Maple Ave. (3480 South), died of natural causes Wednesday, June 10, 1964 at his home. Born April 19, 1885 to George and Minnie Caroline Petersen Brown. Married Clara May Clark Timmons Feb. 26, 1917, Salt Lake City; later solemnized Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. High priest, Valley View Sixth LDS Ward. Survivors: widow, son, daughters, Joseph LeRoy Timmons, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Birkeland, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edward E. (Bernice) Saddler, Kearns; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Caroline B. Sargent, Hoytsville, Summit County; Mrs. Viola B. Mabey, Coalville; Mrs Grace B. Webb, Ogden."
