Arlene Mabel (Rader) Allen-Lackey, 88, of Cowansville passed away Sunday at ACMH.Born Nov. 25, 1927, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Amanda (Hartzell) Rader.Arlene worked for Marburger Dairy, and she was a member of Union First Presbyterian Church in Cowansville.She enjoyed quilting and playing cards. She had a love for animals of all types, leaving behind her Calico cat, Susie.Also surviving are her sisters, Doris Murray and Ethel Mae Hannah, both of Zelienople; and her brother, Eugene Rader of Zelienople.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Red" Allen, who passed away in 1986; her son, Robert Allen, who passed away in 1984; her son, James Allen, who passed away in 1974; and her brother, John Rader.ALLEN-LACKEY - A memorial service for Arlene Mabel (Rader) Allen-Lackey, who died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Union First Presbyterian Church in Cowansville with the Rev. Mary Marks-King, her church pastor, officiating.Interment will be at Evans City Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville. Memorial contributions may be made to Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
