They had 4 children; Josephine Klugh Rhodes,Joel Nash Rhodes and Albert Franklin Rhodes all born in Lincoln County and then Mattie Estella Rhodes born in Lamar County, Texas.
William died in 1888 in Lamar County,and Margaret then married John R. Churchman in 1889 in Lamar County, Texas. Margaret died in 1890 and then John Churchman married her sister Sarah Chapman. They continued to raise William and Margaret's younger children, taking them with them to Love County, Oklahoma when other family members moved there.
