THE PARIS NEWS, Aug. 09, 2006: "MOUNT PLEASANT, William Dale McFadden, 58, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at Titus Regional Medical Center. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Curry-Welborn Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jim Parker officiating. He was born Aug. 24, 1947, in Paris, the son of William and Lorene McFadden. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and switchman for the phone company. He was a member of North Ridge Church of Christ. He was a past master of Pickton Lodge No. 1180 four different times. He was also a member of Omaha Lodge and his home lodge, Mount Vernon Lodge No. 691, as well as member of Saltillo Lodge No. 631. He also served as district deputy and district instructor. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Camille McFadden of Mount Pleasant; a son, Richard McFadden of Paris; a daughter, Rebecca McFadden of Talco; a granddaughter, Alison Lee of Talco; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Diane McFadden of Paris; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Michael Giles of Texarkana, Ark.; his mother and step-father, Lorene McFadden Butler and husband, John, of Paris; three nephews and a niece; three great-nieces; mother-in-law, Constance Beckwith of New York; sisters-in-law, Carrie Lamont and Connie Mulligan both of New York; and a brother-in-law, Mike Beckwith of New York.
