**The information I have is that "He died of Disease in the Union Hospital in Syracuse"**

He was shot by Bushwakers on the Felix Lotspeich home in Johnson County, MO, taken to the Hospital in Syracuse where he died of his wounds...

I have walked Syracuse Cemetery and He does not have a Stone in that Cemetery.
(He should have a military issued stone)

His Civil War Record stating his death,
does not provide burial information.
It is noted, on that record, "burial information, not provided"
married, Mary Jane Sellers
August 31 1859 Jefferson Co TN ,
They had a double wedding ceremony with his sister Jane, who married, Andy VanHoozer.
they left the next day for Benton Co MO
