Randy Carroll Armour

Mr. Randy Carroll Armour, 51, of Miami, FL died Saturday, November 11, 1989, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 16, at 3 p.m. at the Bailey Mortuary Chapel, Springhill, with Rev. James McCellan officiating. Burial followed in the Old Shongaloo Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Inc., Springhill.

Mr. Armour was a native of Shongaloo, LA and had been a resident of Miami the past 15 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a musician and singer and traveled throughout the United States and Canada in his work. He also worked for a cruise liner in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. B.G. Armour.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Oleta Wise Williams, and brother, Mr. Donnie Armour, both of Cotton Valley, LA; nieces, Donna K. Armour Holtzclaw, Magnolia, AR, and Cher Armour, Shongaloo, LA.

Pallbearers were Drayton Modisette, John Moore, Jerry James, David Smith, Barry Wayne Slack and Glen Williams.
