Funeral services for Oleta Wise Armour Williams, 88, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2009 at Bailey Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Charles Payne officiating. Burial will be in the Old Shongaloo Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill.
Mrs. Williams a native of Shongaloo and a former resident of Minden and Cotton Valley, died Friday, June 26, 2009 in Springhill. She was a member of the Lakeview United Methodist Church in Minden, was a homemaker and beautician.
She is survived by a sister, Gladys Schoellerman of Shongaloo; grand-daughters, Donna Kaye Armour Holtzclaw and John; Cher Lynn Armour Johnson and husband Randall, all of Shongaloo, LA.; great-grandsons, Hayden and Jes Holtzclaw and Hayden Kyle Johnson; step-sons, Dean Williams, Glen Williams and wife, Shelley, all of Minden, LA.; Jim Williams and wife, Linda, of Palestine, Texas and a host of loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by sons, Randy Armour and Donnie Armour; parents, Ivan Drew and Emma McCullon Wise; sister, Hazel Jones and brother, Billy Wise.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Holtzclaw, Randall Johnson, Dean Williams, Hayden Holtzclaw, Jes Holtzclaw and Hayden Kyle Johnson.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, at Bailey Mortuary.
