Services for Louis Forret, 84, of Fountain West Health Center, 1501 Office Park Road, West Des Moines will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church in Adel. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery at Booneville.

Mr. Forret died Monday of complications following surgery at Mercy Hospital.

Born near Booneville, Mr. Forret lived in the the Adel area most of his life. He lived in West Des Moines for the past 2 1/2 years.

Mr. Forret was a retired farmer, insurance man and real estate agent. He was a member of St. John's Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie; three sons, Harold of Adel, Charles of Milwaukee, Wis., and Joe of Anacortes, Wash.; five daughters, Mrs. Fred Pearson of Chula Vista, Calif., Mrs. Ralph Conard Jr. of Adel, Mrs. Ralph Reynolds of New Port Richey, Fla., Mrs. Fred Sassatelli of Des Moines and Sister Patricia Forret of Denver, Colo.; 37 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorial contributions to the Mercy Hospital Foundation.

A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chamberlain-Fisher Funeral Home in Adel.
