HANOVER, December 21 – With a remarkable progeny of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numbering over a hundred, to carry the name to many future generations, Mrs. Sevilla C. Barnhart, aged eighty-three years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Simpson, Locust Street, today, from the result of a stroke of paralysis received about ten days ago.
Mrs. Barnhart, who was a Miss Klinedinst, of Seven Valleys, and married sixty-five years ago to Simon Barnhart, of Heidelberg Township, who died ten years ago.
She is survived by six sons and three daughters: Cornelius G. Barnhart and Simon N. Barnhart, of West Manheim Township; Samuel Barnhart, of New Washington, Ohio; Henry Barnhart, of Chatfield, Ohio; Martin Barnhart, of Jackson Township; Jacob R. Barnhart, of Locust Street; Mrs. Anna Martin, of Baltimore Street; Mrs. Ellen Simpson, of Locust Street, and Mrs. Sevilla Shorb, of Marburg. One brother, Michael Klinedinst, and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Fickes and Mrs. Amanda Breneman, all of Seven Valleys, together with eighty grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren, also survive her.
Funeral Saturday at 9 a.m., brief services at the house and further services and interment at St. Paul's (Dub's) Church, Manheim Township, Rev. Dr. D. B. Lau officiating.
