Mrs. Savilla R. Shorb
Hanover – Mrs. Savilla Rachael Shorb, 89, widow of Jerome Shorb, died yesterday at 4:30 a.m. at the home of her son, Harry Shorb, Hanover RD 2, following a lingering illness. She was a daughter of the late Simon and Savilla Klinedinst Barnhart.
Mrs. Shorb was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Paul's (Dub's) Church and the Sunday school. Her husband died in 1915.
Surviving are: Two sons, Stanley Shorb, Littlestown, and Harry Shorb, where she made her home; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Simon Barnhart, Locust Street.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at William A. Feiser Funeral Home, Carlisle Street. Rev. A. M. Hollinger, pastor of West Manheim Lutheran charge, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's (Dub's) Cemetery.
