STOVERSTOWN, December 7 – Mrs. Elenora Bentz, residing near this place, died this morning at 9:45 o'clock from pneumonia, from which she suffered the previous two days. She was one of the oldest women in the county, and was within two months of eighty-four years old.

Surviving are three sons, Henry K. Bentz, a carpet weaver of Jefferson; George K. Bentz, North Codorus Township, and Peter K. Bentz, of York. Three sisters and a brother also survive as follows: Mrs. Julia Fickes and Mrs. Amanda Breneman, North Codorus Township; Mrs. Sevilla Barnhart, Manheim Township, and Michael Klinedinst, North Codorus Township.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the house, Rev. Fred Geesey, of Spring Grove, to officiate. Interment will be made at Zeigler's Church.
