Florence Parker Allen was born to Vern Parker and Reta Rigby Parker at their home in Hooper, Utah.

She was the fourth daughter of what would eventually be seven sisters, who would be known as the, Singing Parker Sisters. She had a wonderful childhood growing up on a farm during the Great Depression. She learned to work hard, be frugal, and go without. She believed in God and prayer. She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served in the various organizations. She especially enjoyed leading the stake young men and women's choirs. She married Joseph W. Allen in 1945 in the Logan LDS Temple. Florence and Joe were members of a group of 13 couples, made up of high school friends called, The Gang. They served an ambassador mission to Guyana, South America and they were ordinance workers in the Ogden LDS Temple. She also worked as a teacher's-aide for many years in the Weber School District.

*They raised five children. They also sponsored Etta(Tommy)T, for 10 years. They were blessed with 23 Grandkids and 35 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, son Jerald, sons-in-law, Greg Randall and Mike Kelley, and many other beloved family members.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Hooper Park Ward, 5601 South 6100 West, Hooper.

A viewing will be held Sunday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Hooper City Cemetery.
