Karl Christian Boss, 88, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

Karl was born November 8, 1927 in Garland to Peter and Ida Boss.

He married Amy Horrocks on December 4, 1953 in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. They were married for sixty-two years.

He served faithfully in many church callings, including three missions to Switzerland and Germany. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Karl loved music, playing the organ and sang in many choirs. He loved to garden and took pride in always maintaining a beautiful yard. He loved his family and often bore a strong testimony of Jesus Christ.

Karl was preceded in death by his wife, Amy, and is survived by his children, Tim (DeLanea), Chris (Jade), Rod (Lori), and Julianne; nineteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the caregivers at Stonehenge South Jordan Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 in the Taylorsville Fifteenth Ward Chapel, 1457 West Atherton Drive (4355 South), Taylorsville. A visitation will be held at the above mentioned church on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment: Garland City Cemetery.
